Season of Discovery is now live for World of Warcraft® Classic! The time has come to gather your friends, create a new character, and scour the lands of Azeroth to discover class-altering abilities, new endgame activities, and a new Rune Engraving system.
This Season brings an initial level cap of 25 and a new level-25 endgame, including a 10-player Blackfathom Deeps raid with new mechanics, new and reimagined bosses to challenge player tactics and strategies, and fresh rewards.
New content added in Season of Discovery:
- New Leveling Phases With Level Caps – Level 25, Level 40, Level 50, Level 60
- New Player Power – Rune Engraving and Runes
- New Class Roles – Mage Healer, Rogue Tank, Shaman Tank, Warlock Tank
- New Level-Up Raids – Phase 1 Blackfathom Deeps

Battle for Ashenvale World PvP Event
In Phase 1 of Season of Discovery, players will be capped at level 25. This adds a new spice to WoW Classic, with never before seen endgame content at this level. In this guide, I will focus on the new zone-wide PVP event in Ashenvale. This event is unique to Season of Discovery and will offer valuable rewards including new PVP gear, honor points, Warsong Gulch faction reputation, a new world buff, and zone-specific mounts that you might find familiar.
